VOICES & HANDS: Reading and Conversation Club for Deaf and Hearing Participants – Edition 26.2
Registration is open from September 7th to 18th, you can join another edition of Voices & Hands, a project that brings together English, Libras, and Deaf Culture in an inclusive, creative, and collaborative environment.
Our goal is to create a space for reading, conversation, and the exchange of experiences between Deaf and hearing participants, using English and Libras as tools for communication and learning. Throughout the meetings, we will explore topics related to Deaf Culture, identity, diversity, and communication.
In-person meetings:
- October 9th, 23rd, 30th, November 13th
Special guests:
- Prof. Dr. Carolina Morais (CCB)
- Prof. Ms. Marina Figueiredo (CGCCE – LIBRAS)
- Prof. Ms. Jorge Adriano Silva (UFPA)
- Lua Ádhara Machado (UFC)
Location: Casa de Cultura Britânica
Required English Level: A2
Participants who meet the participation requirements will receive a certificate.

Abertas as inscrições de 7 a 18 de setembro, você pode garantir sua participação em mais uma edição do Voices & Hands, um projeto que une inglês, Libras e cultura surda em um ambiente inclusivo, criativo e colaborativo.
A proposta é promover um espaço de leitura, conversação e troca de experiências entre participantes surdos e ouvintes, utilizando o inglês e a Libras como instrumentos de comunicação e aprendizagem. Ao longo dos encontros, exploraremos temas relacionados à cultura surda, identidade, diversidade e comunicação.
